Straight answers
Clear guidance before you make a decision. Every final recommendation is still verified against your property, electricity use, and equipment needs.
Ask us something else →Not always. A well-sized system can greatly reduce the energy portion of your bill, but fixed utility charges, nighttime use, weather, shading, and the value of net-metering credits can leave a remaining amount. We design toward a realistic reduction target—not a guaranteed zero bill.
A standard grid-tied system shuts down during a brownout to protect utility workers and equipment. If you need backup power, a properly designed hybrid inverter and battery system can keep selected essential loads running, subject to its capacity.
Not necessarily. Batteries are most useful when you need brownout protection or want to use stored solar energy at night. If most electricity is used during sunny hours and backup is not a priority, a grid-tied system may be the more economical starting point.
Net metering is a program that lets an approved renewable-energy system send unused electricity to the distribution grid through a bidirectional meter. The corresponding export value is credited to your bill under your utility's rules. In the Philippines, the standard program covers eligible systems up to 100 kW; application and approval are required.
Yes. Solar can help power air conditioners, but the system must be sized for the unit's consumption, operating hours, and starting demand. Daytime operation is usually the easiest to offset directly; nighttime air-conditioning may require batteries or grid power.
On-site installation for a straightforward home system often takes several working days. Larger or more complex projects take longer. The complete schedule also depends on the site survey, structural and electrical preparation, equipment availability, permits, testing, and any utility or net-metering process.
It depends on usable roof area, orientation, shade, roof shape, setbacks, and safe access paths. Our estimator uses a preliminary allowance based on a 620 W panel measuring about 2.382 m × 1.134 m, plus 10% for spacing and access. A site survey confirms the final layout.
Warranty coverage depends on the selected panels, inverter, batteries, and installation scope. Your proposal will identify the applicable manufacturer product and performance warranties together with SilanganTech's workmanship and support terms, so you can review them before approving the project.
Yes. SilanganTech provides after-sales support and can assist with system inspection, performance checks, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning. The recommended schedule and scope depend on the equipment, site conditions, and system type.
