01

Your electricity use

If available, use the monthly electricity usage shown as kWh on your bill.

02

Your savings goal

Choose how much of your monthly electricity use you would like solar to cover.

Selecting 100% does not guarantee a zero bill. Fixed utility charges, electricity used at night, weather, and credits for excess solar power can affect the final bill.

Combined design target: 70%. The added allowance increases the recommended system size. It becomes an actual energy buffer only when effective solar energy exceeds your current monthly use.

03

When you use electricity

Think about when your appliances, air-conditioning, or business equipment normally operate.

Low daytime use: the property is usually empty during working hours. High daytime use: appliances or equipment run for much of the day.

04

Roof space and power backup

Estimate only the clear, mostly unshaded roof space available for solar panels.

This calculator provides an initial recommendation using standard SilanganTech planning assumptions. Actual production and final equipment selection depend on your electricity bill, roof condition, shading, electrical system, and site inspection.
